Pros - Everything. Cons - Nothing. Well I can say with some happy reprieve I was very nervous about consructing with Ashford Homes, as I didn't look up any website reviews until after I signed a contract. How ever their Home Building Consultant was very open and honest about the companies history and had me meet with my supervisor well before I site started. This was our dream home, designed by myself. It is now 2 weeks since we moved into the house, and I have to admit I am more than satisfied, my family is happy and I am happy. They started building on Friday March 5th so time delays were non existent. From a skeptical client to a happy one. I can only say I am happy I gave them a go, and yes I am a real Client.

The sales consultant is extremely helpful and friendly ,Great designs and customer service.
No cons, building with Ashford Homes was a breeze. We had been to see many of the volume builders like Metricon, Burbank, Henley, Simonds etc and they don’t really care about you or your home as they have many customers coming through their doors. A friend recommended Ashford Homes to us and right from the start we felt we could trust them, after all it’s a 30 year debt that we getting into!! We are extremely happy with the house that we built with them and had no hassles at all. Our slab was laid on the 18/Dec/2009 and our house was completed on the 1/Jun/2010, considering Christmas break in between the pace was awesome. We loved the fact we could custom design our home at no extra cost. The house turned out beautifully. We had a lot of hiccups with our lender Commonwealth Bank, but Ashford Homes was really patient with us and went out of their way to help us out. We had our house independently inspected by Home Buyers Protection Services, and the inspector stated that he has been inspecting houses for 15 years and our house was built way above the standard and our building supervisor loves his job. My husband and I are sincerely happy with the service provided and I would definitely build with this builder again and recommend this builder to everybody. If anyone is interested, I can even email some pictures of our house. :)

The build time was less then 20 weeks, and even though my home is only 26sq’s, it was fairly modified from their standard range to suit my needs (mum lives with us).. I still think this was pretty good considering what I have heard. The supervisor was very good.. sometimes a little blunt but always got back to me…
Wow I am amazed about some of the negative reviews I am reading in comparison to the experience I have just had. I was aware of some of the negative reviews dating back a while ago when I first researched Ashford as a builder option last year. Luckily my consultant assured me of the changes that had occurred at the company to rectify their construction problems, and introduced me to their new construction manager [name censored] who had been employed to fix these issues. From the beginning to the end everyone at the Ashford Homes team was easy to deal with and talk too. Their Display Homes were very well presented and I found the communication throughout the project was very good. The end result of my home was just the way I wanted it.
I have no hesitation recommending anyone to build with Ashford Homes in the future and I am happy to be contacted to discuss this personally in more detail.
